Floral Fantasy

These assorted florals come to us once again from our friend Angie in Devon, England! I have never seen so many gorgeous flowers coming from one place. Angie lives on the coast of Devon. Wow….love it! There are many more flowers that I have that were sent to us by Angie and I will continue to share them and other photos from her and from us in the coming weeks and months.

It’s Tulip Time!

While it may not quite be tulip time here where I live, it definitely was in Devon, England recently. Our thanks to Angie for the use of her cheerful and colorful tulip photos! I didn’t grow up a fan of tulips but in my later years have come to appreciate their beauty, their early arrival and their different shapes and colors!

Love the little bit of contrasting color on this lone beauty and the contrasting colors of the surrounding flowers

Our final beauty is so cheerful and colorful as the colors are mixed.

Okay, most consider these weeds but this thistle is the national flower of Scotland…growing in Wisconsin! I think they are pretty! This closeup showed me for the first time how wicked the thorns are. This photo was taken by my friend with an iPhone.

This, believe it or not, is the hollowed out inside of a tree in Powers Bluff park! I think this is awesome!

One of my favorites every late spring/early summer. I think they are white cherry blossoms. Beautiful.

A Farewell To Summer Flowers

Well, it’s that time of year in Wisconsin. Time to say goodbye to summer and the beautiful flowers here. This means though that we look forward to the beauty of the fall leaves!
