Glorious Roses!

This selection of gorgeous roses is from our friend Angie in Devon, England. It amazes me that one place on earth could have such stunning roses! She uses just her cell phone for the photos and then lets me ‘tweak’ them! I have many more roses to post in the future as they are a never ending beauty that she continually captures for us!

I love this! Looks like some artfully done photo but this is how it came to us. In this case though I could have brought out the background leaves, I thought this should be left ‘as is’

What can be said? Perfect rose with some drops of rain on it….stunning!

This is another favorite of mine. This one looks like it was meant to be painted!

I went ‘wow’ when I saw this. Two stunning roses! I can only imagine how gorgeous in person.

It’s Tulip Time!

While it may not quite be tulip time here where I live, it definitely was in Devon, England recently. Our thanks to Angie for the use of her cheerful and colorful tulip photos! I didn’t grow up a fan of tulips but in my later years have come to appreciate their beauty, their early arrival and their different shapes and colors!

Love the little bit of contrasting color on this lone beauty and the contrasting colors of the surrounding flowers

These particular ones are my favorites for shape and color

Our final beauty is so cheerful and colorful as the colors are mixed.

Impressions of a Garden

I always wanted to draw and paint. However the gift was not for me to have. Through the use of free photo editing programs, once in awhile I can ‘create’….perhaps still not what I envision but sometimes something besides the actual photograph. The original photos came to me from my friend Angie in Devon, England who graciously allows me to take her photos and create something out of them. Anyway, hope you like the colors etc 🙂

The Sheep Farm

The Loch Ness Swan?

Thanks to my friend Angie in Devon, England for sharing her photos with me! I can’t believe she found the Loch Ness Swan in England of all places! She must have migrated south for the winter as Scotland can be a might cold!

Angie’s trip started out quite normal. Here is a lovely single black swan.

Walking along, Angie saw these two black swans practicing synchronized dunking

All of a sudden, she stopped dead in her tracks. There before her very eyes was the Loch Ness Swan! She snapped this incredible photo quickly before Nessie Swan disappeared. Is this incredible or what?

English White Roses

These white roses are from Devon, England and are courtesy of our friend Angie! I admit that white roses were never on my list of favorites mainly because I don’t recall ever seeing any. These photos have however given me a love for them. Enjoy!

Pink Roses from Devon, England

These lovely pink roses are truly English roses…..so gorgeous I can almost smell them 🙂 These photos were snapped by a friend of mine in Devon, England! She is a true flower lover and is always taking photos of them. My thanks to Angie for these beauties and for the posts here of her flowers that are yet to come!
