Barns I Love

The post title is kind of not entirely accurate as I love ALL barns but these barns I am featuring here, and in future posts, are ones I love just a little bit more! All photos taken by my friend in the Marshfield, Wi. area. I hope you love them as much as I do 🙂

Just an all around lovely barn with stone foundation

I love the setting of the barn here as well as the barn itself. It just says ‘country’!

I admit when I first saw the photo of this it kind of made my heart stop. The setting, the angle, the color….all these things made me go ‘wow’.

Color! That red roof on this beauty is something you don’t see often and I love the clouds in this one…..sort of makes a lovely colorful photo

Silos Sunrise

I must admit that I truly LOVE this photo sent to me by my friend. He took this in the Marshfield, Wi. area with his iPhone early one morning. There is something wonderful about the silos against the gorgeous sunrise!

Broken Dreams

I have to admit that I did not come up with the name of this. I posted this photo in a group for barn photos on Facebook and another person put this in the comments. I thought it was a great title! I also did not take the photo…a good friend of mine did. I really love this photo as I think it captures everything….the buildings, the sky, the grasses and trees and the little bit of fence. Hope you like it too! This is in the Marshfield, Wisconsin area.

For the Love of Barns

If you live in the Dairy State – Wisconsin, one thing you will see a lot of is barns! I love barns all shapes and sizes. I hope you love these too!

I call this the optical illusion barn. The photographer assures me the barn is NOT really leaning to one side!

I must admit that this is one of my all time favorites…the color and composition are just gorgeous!

Although the traditional red barn is my favorite, I love gray with stone foundations as well

BARNS . . . .

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me

now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you

out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it”

Malachi 3:10

I love barns, there is just something about them. Maybe it is just me, I did grow up in the city and now live in the country. Barns are unfortunately disappearing from the landscape as we know it.

Note the windows in this barn and the constructs on the top of it, you do not see to many like this anymore!
